Welcome to Beckett Oil Burner Service. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website beckettoilburnerservice.com and our oil burner services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

Beckett Oil Burner Service provides oil burner repair, maintenance, installation, and related services to residential and commercial customers in Suffolk County and Nassau County, New York. Our services include but are not limited to:

Beckett oil burner repair and diagnostics
Preventive maintenance and tune-ups
New oil burner installation
Oil burner replacement
Emergency no-heat service
Parts replacement (nozzles, motors, electrodes, etc.)

Service Appointments

When you schedule a service appointment with us:

We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window
You agree to provide safe access to your heating equipment
An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the service call
You will inform us of any known hazards or conditions at your property

Pricing and Payment

Our pricing is as follows:

Service Call: $189 (includes diagnostic and first 30 minutes of labor)
Annual Tune-Up: $249
Parts and Additional Labor: Quoted before work begins

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. For larger installations or replacements, we may require a deposit.

Estimates and Quotes

We provide estimates for all work before proceeding. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Final pricing may vary if additional issues are discovered during the service. We will notify you and obtain approval before performing any work beyond the original estimate.

Warranty

We stand behind our work:

Labor Warranty: 90 days on all repair work
Parts Warranty: Manufacturer's warranty applies to all parts installed
New Installation: 1-year labor warranty on new burner installations

Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, power surges, or acts of nature. Warranty is void if the equipment is serviced by another provider.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

Emergency Service

We offer 24/7 emergency service for no-heat situations. Emergency service rates may apply for calls outside regular business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays).

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beckett Oil Burner Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beckett Oil Burner Service, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our services.

Website Use

When using our website, you agree not to:
